What does PayPal installment payment mean?
With PayPal instalment payment, you have the option of paying for your purchases online in convenient instalments. If this option is available, it will be displayed during the payment process in the online shop. Simply select PayPal as your payment method, log in and check whether ‘PayPal instalment payment’ appears as an additional option in your account.
Who is authorised to use PayPal instalment payments?
To be able to use PayPal instalment payment, you first need a private PayPal account that is deposited and confirmed with a bank account as the source of payment.
Is there a minimum order value for using PayPal instalment payment?
PayPal instalment payment is available from a shopping basket value of
€99. The maximum shopping basket value is
€5,000.
What conditions apply to PayPal instalment payments?
Subject to credit check and only for transactions in euros. For orders between €99 and €5,000, an effective annual interest rate of 0.00% p.a. applies, and for loan agreements concluded during the promotional period, a fixed interest rate of 0.00% p.a. The effective annual interest rate is 0.00 percent during the promotional period and the regular interest rate is 10.99% thereafter. Term 3, 6, 12 or 24 months. The lender is PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. The option is only available for participating products and brands. As a consumer, you have a right of cancellation in accordance with § 514 BGB for free loan agreements with a financing amount of €200 or more. Eligible customers must grant PayPal a SEPA direct debit mandate and have a German PayPal private account with confirmed bank details as a payment source.
